Excellence in Classical Music Studies Triniti Music Institute
Introduction We are pleased to introduce you to the Triniti Music Institute classical music courses. The programme includes something for everyone: piano and vocal tuition for beginner, performers to diploma level candidates; workshops; seminars, and training courses. Meanwhile, please come and visit us if you have any questions about music studies in general. We will be pleased to meet you and help in any way we possibly can.
Piano lessons
All requests for piano tuition are dealt with on an individual basis. Unless you are a complete beginner, we will ask you to come to play to one of our school managers for an assessment of your playing so that you can be placed with an appropriate member of our teaching staff. Lessons are given in our suite of pleasantly appointed teaching rooms. Tuition is usually available on any day of the week except Monday, when the school is closed. Quality Assurance & Control All students are given a weekly report so that parents can keep in touch with the progress that is being made. The Head of Piano Department regularly reviews both these reports and the detailed lesson plans that are prepared by all teachers for each pupil.
Interactive Musical Computer Programmes Our students will be able to learn through our interactive computerized musical activities, GLORY, The Music Lab, a programme for practicing and developing their musicianship skills. The curriculum is based on more than 20 of the mostly successful interactive musical computer programmes in the U.S. and is divided into courses from the initial grade up to Grade 8. The teacher will assign the student to take such lessons according to the level of advancement.
Library The school has a well-stocked piano library which contains an impressive range of materials, from primers to advanced collections. Our philosophy is not to use one method for each student, but to mix and match according to each studentžs strengths and weaknesses.
Performances in Concerts Students also have access to grand pianos for practice and performance. Regular in-house concerts are given in the auditorium. Occasional concerts are presented to the public in more formal venues around the city.
